Student BI Project for Student & Campus Life Facilities service, skills, hours, & cost analysis

This fall semester, students from the INFO4940 Business Intelligence Systems class, partnering with sponsors from Student & Campus Life Facilities Management (SCLFM) and CIT’s Enterprise Applications, to create multiple proof of concept solutions to aid SCLFM in analysis of facility request data, from Maximo, in order to better understand bottlenecks in support request types, contractor skill needs, costs associated with service request types, and request by building type and age.  This paper covers the methodology, technologies, and a few sample solutions developed by the students.
